Welcome to the Guestbook!
I'm always eager to read your comments about my books and stories, so please feel free to pitch in. Here are a few things for you to know:
1) I answer the messages here personally.
2) No message shows up here until I actually answer it. To prevent spam and other inappropriate postings. So there will sometimes be a delay before your message posts, especially if I am traveling.
DEEP APOLOGIES! Due to a glitch in the Guestbook I have not been receiving notifications of new messages for some months now. I should have spotted this, but I have been so busy with so many things that it went right by me. But yesterday (February 9) I started wondering about it, and when I went into the Guestbook registry I was horrified to find dozens, maybe even hundreds, of unanswered messages. I'm beginning to work on taking care of the backlog, but it's going to take me some time. If you left a message, my apologies for not having responded. (By the way, this is a good reason to fill in your email when you leave a message. It does NOT appear in the public guestbook, but it does mean that you will get a notification when I answer you.)

Hi, Bruce. I'm 15 now, but I remember when I'd first started reading. "My Teacher is an Alien" was the first book I'd picked up. It was at the public library. It changed my life. You and your books are THE thing that made me a book-lover. I might never have discovered the joys of reading if it hadn't been for your writing. For this I'm deeply grateful.Brian W.

To all Bruce Coville fans and of course Mr.Coville himself,Well this is the 2nd time I am signing the guestbook, but I just wanted to know if any of you fans have seen his new hit tv show "I Was A Sixth Grade Alien"? The show is only showing in the U.S. but in September it will supposedly be showing on Sundays at 9:30am eastern on YTV. That is for Canadian fans (so I've heard). I am in the show and I think it is really fantastic. And for any fans that haven't yet seen the show, please see it and tell all your friends about it. It is a family show and the cast is absolutly terrific! So please if you haven't yet seen the show, please make time to see it.Cuddlez

Mr. Coville... I'm a 17 year old student, and I still find your books fantastic reads! I've been an avid reader for almost ten years, and in thattime I've read all your Rod Albright adventures, your My Teacher is an Alien series, and the majority of the single works you'vecontributed to such books as Books of Magic (I and II) and the Wizard's Dozen. I've recently finished Oddly Enough, and believe it tobe one of your best works. I write ameteurly myself and agree with your views on the moods of writing habits.I'm writting this on a perticular question, though. The first story in Oddly Enough was titled "The Box", and with the same themesefound in another work, "Bear at the Gate." My question, after commenting on how much I enjoy both, is this: have you done moreof these "heavenly works", or is this to be a forever craving? Keep up the excellent work!

Mr. C, The speech you gave at Oakland University was motivating to all of the teachers. We need to show that we value the children in our society. If only more people understood this. It is obvious that you know children and what they want. You are an inspiration. Thank you.Amy Honeycutt

Bruce Coville:You rock! I've read every single one of your books that is available and I anxiously wait for more. I love to write and draw and your books, with the incredible illustrations of Katherine Coville, set a great example. I'm a little embarrassed to admit that I find myself following your slightly sarcastic writing style, but I try to be original. I specifically love your alien books (specifically the Rod Allbright ones and the A.I. Gang Trilogy) and your fantasty books. My mom at first believed that your books were worthless, like so many nowadays, but she read the first book of the A.I. Gang and she loved it! Now she has nothing to say against what I read! Whenever I go to the bookstore (which is frequently) I search the shelves for any new or unknown books of yours. After getting one of my friends to read THE DRAGONSLAYERS we had only to whisper "liver cookie" and we would burst into hysterical giggles. Please write more Magic Shop books! I LOVE Jennifer Murdley's Toad & Goblins in the Castle. These comments are getting a little wrong so I will stop now, but I remain ever your devoted fan,Thea Sabrina De Armond

I LOVED Into The Land Of The Unicorns! It was such a SUPER book! Ever since I read it (time and time again!), I've been dying to read the sequal. Then, when you came to our school as "Author Of The Year", I had broken my clavicle (collarbone) and couldn't be there to hear you! I was sooo upset! But then my friend's mom told me she asked when the sequal was coming out, and you said soon. THANKS SO MUCH FOR WORKING REALLY HARD AND GETTING IT OUT! YOU RULE! YOU'RE THE BEST AUTHOR IN TEH WORLD! :)Your BIGGEST fan,Donna C.

I haven't read any of your books in a long time, to tell you the truth, I haven't read much of anything that wasn't required in a while. But the other day, I was cleaning my room and found the three books I own about Rod Allbright and the crew of the Ferkel. I loved those books, and I ended up reading all three again. I may be getting older, but I don't think I will ever be too old to enjoy your books. Keep writing, I'm sure there are others like me.Karen
