There was a book that I read in the 4th grade but I couldnt remember the title of it. The only thing I remembered clearly was that it was about a girl with unicorns and that it was one of my favorites. Id loved it so much that I went back to our tiny school library every day to beg the librarian to help me find the next book in the series (which was still unwritten at the time). 18 years later (2016), I finally searched book with girl and unicorns and was delighted to find it, as well as three more in the series! I ordered them through our local library and the first installment was placed into my handsI recognized the cover instantly and wept in remembrance of the little girl I once was. The Unicorn Chronicles brought me back to the magic of my childhood. I devoured all four books as fast as they could order them and learned the rest of Caras story. How wonderfully satisfying! What an intriguing tale. I am in love with the world of Luster and wish there was a fifth edition as there is so much left for discovery. I also came to a curious realization that my deep love for the equine world began in elementary school. I was swept "into the land of horses" and have cared for my mare since I was 12 years old and she was only a filly. I am certain that Caras connection with Lightfoot inspired my eventual horse ownership and am in debt to you for setting my mind running with fantastical ideas and a true connection to animals. The purpose for this message is to thank you, Bruce, for your astounding imagination and for not giving up on completing this series. You can add me to what Im sure is a very long list of grateful readers. Thank you.
