I like your question about which book was my favorite to write. It's a better and more interesting question than the one I more commonly get, which is "Which book is your favorite."
I've mostly enjoyed writing all my books. There are always tough parts, and spots where I get stuck, but overall I love writing. However I really think the one that was my favorite to write was . . . GOBLINS IN THE CASTLE! That was partly because I had had so much fun with Igor visiting my classroom for all the years I was teaching.
