2) No message shows up here until I actually answer it to prevent spam and other inappropriate postings. So there will sometimes be a delay before your message posts, especially if I am traveling.

I'm glad you enjoyed the Chronicles - I poured my heart and soul into the last two books, and nearly broke my brain writing THE LAST HUNT! I'm also delighted you're enjoying ALWAYS OCTOBER, which is my most recent book and therefore quite dear to my heart.
I have written three ghost mysteries. Sadly, they are out of print now, but I am working on getting them available as ebooks. No mermaid books, though I have thought about doing one of those many times. I was going to write a vampire story for my next Magic Shop book, but I am very unhappy with the publisher right now. There is a witch, and quite a nasty one at that, in JENNIFER MURDLEY'S TOAD.
I am glad that you would like to be a writer, too. It was reading books that I loved when I was your age that made me want to be a writer myself!
