Welcome to the Guestbook!

I’m always eager to read your comments about my books and stories, so please feel free to pitch in. Here are a few things for you to know:

1) I answer the messages here personally.

2) No message shows up here until I actually answer it to prevent spam and other inappropriate postings. So there will sometimes be a delay before your message posts, especially if I am traveling.

3) Teachers, a gentle request: Please do not have multiple children send me variants of the same message. A group email is much easier to respond to and not such a drain on my time. My thanks in advance for being alert to this.

Hi there!
First, you are my favorite author you have inspired me to write many things. And most of those I had lost interest in.
Second, how do you continue writing stories. How can you finish a story without losing interest in it? If it is a secret. The darn it!
Lastly, My favorite books are most of yours... I wish I could buy all of them and just snuggle on a couch and read them all. But I have only got the whole Unicorn Chronicles. Or whatever the series is call. I can't remember. But anyway it is great to chat with you!
Thanks,
-Jasmine

Hi, Jasmine -

Many thanks for this message. I am honored to be your favorite author!

As to your question about how I "continue writing stories" - well, it's something I learned over time. When I was your age I started many stories that I did not finish. I often hear from young writers who have the same problem. The only thing I can tell you is that I kept at it, and after a while I figured out how to do it. I don't think there's really a secret, other than practice and desire.

All best,

BC
