1) I answer the messages here personally.
2) No message shows up here until I actually answer it to prevent spam and other inappropriate postings. So there will sometimes be a delay before your message posts, especially if I am traveling.
3) Teachers, a gentle request: Please do not have multiple children send me variants of the same message. A group email is much easier to respond to and not such a drain on my time. My thanks in advance for being alert to this.

I just moved to Australia from Manhattan Beach, California and I am determined to bring quality literature to my 6th grade Australian students. Your book will be introducing Science Fiction to many of them!! They are so excited to start reading. I LOVE the way you have incorporated some of your own beliefs from your biography into the novel just like Anna Sewell did in Black Beauty, which is the book we just finished. Thanks for this lovely message. I'm delighted to know that you're going to be sharing some of my work with you students in Oz! Delighted, to, that you would even mention me in the same paragraph with Anna Sewell. Black Beauty is one of my favorite books ever. I read it repeatedly as a child.
