1) I answer the messages here personally.
2) No message shows up here until I actually answer it to prevent spam and other inappropriate postings. So there will sometimes be a delay before your message posts, especially if I am traveling.
3) Teachers, a gentle request: Please do not have multiple children send me variants of the same message. A group email is much easier to respond to and not such a drain on my time. My thanks in advance for being alert to this.

I was taking a trip down memory lane today, thinking about my love of books and the writers that inspired my love of the written word, and I ended up here. I just wanted to thank you for all the inspiration and tell you how much your books will always mean to me. When I have kids, they will most definitely be raised on your work. <3

Some of my very favorite memories of raising my children have to do with the times I spent reading to them. It delights me to think that you will be sharing some of my stories with your own children in the same way. Thanks for stopping by to tell me that.
