Welcome to the Guestbook!
I’m always eager to read your comments about my books and stories, so please feel free to pitch in. Here are a few things for you to know:
1) I answer the messages here personally.
2) No message shows up here until I actually answer it to prevent spam and other inappropriate postings. So there will sometimes be a delay before your message posts, especially if I am traveling.
3) Teachers, a gentle request: Please do not have multiple children send me variants of the same message. A group email is much easier to respond to and not such a drain on my time. My thanks in advance for being alert to this.

Hello! The Unicorn Chronicles is a series that is near and dear to my heart. I started reading Into the Land of the Unicorns in 2nd grade and read the first 3 books countless times after that. I recently got a copy of The Last Hunt and couldn't put it down. Thank you for taking the time to wrap up the story the way it deserved! Just wanted to pop in and say thanks. 🙂 -Lauren
Hi Mr. Coville, Thank you for replying to me! I ended up getting a copy from my local library, and while I am sad that the series is finished, I am pleased about how it ended. It was in the children's section of the library, and I know it is geared towards the younger demographic, but the last book really moved me. I had grown attached to all your characters and am happy I could join them on their adventures. So few books are that well thought out, and The Last Hunt put me in such a good mood. I am still trying to get a copy. Thank you again so replying, so many authors don't find the time to interact with fans! Also, are you planning on releasing new books any time soon? Thanks, Ally
Hi Bruce! I just wanted to say that I've enjoyed your books since I was in kindergarten and I still enjoy them even 17 years later! I immediately fell in love with the Unicorn Chronicles and that is by far my most favorite. Also, you have spoiled me for other audio books with your work with Full Cast Audio. I just have a few questions, have you ever thought about writing any more material in connection with the Unicorn Chronicles? (It's been far too long!) Also, I would like to know, have any of the universes in your series' every crossed over? Thank you for all that you do!
I should introduce myself first I'm Michael or you can call me mikko I'm a big fan of your books me and my sister started reading the unicorn chronicles 8 years ago at first I thought it was going to be a girly book but it turned out the be full of Adventure and non-stop excitement we finally manage to track down a copy of the 4th book for the cheapest I could find it for 42 dollars x_x and just got it in the mail yesterday haven't started reading it yet I guess we really don't want the adventure to end yet we really appreciate the wonderful story you made sincerely Miko
Hi Mr. Coville, I first want to say thank you for sharing your imagination with the world. Your books are magic. When I was young, I fell in love with your book Juilet Dove, Queen of Love (no pun intended) and the rest of your Magic Shop books. The Monster's Ring was actually assigned reading in an English class one year! I am now re-reading the Unicorn Chronicles. When I first read them, I thought there were only two, but an Amazon search told me there were four! I just finished the third and even though I'm 24, I loved it! Herein the problem lies. The 4th book costs at least $40! I know they are out of print, but do you have any suggestions on how to get it? My local library has it, but I would like it for my personal library. I would love to know if you have any suggestions. Thank you again for sharing your creativity with the world, and adding a little magic to the world 🙂
Hi Bruce. Sorry to sign your guestbook again. I wanted to say thanks for explaining about how the books were released, I'm blonde so sometimes things which seem self explanatory don't make sense to me right away. Thanks again. ~Amanda
Hi Bruce. I feel honored you remember me. Hmm, I wonder how that person is selling a hardcover book if there isn't one. Sounds like a scam to me. Yes, that would be great, even a hardcover boxed set would be awesome. As for my email address, I don't actually eat snakes. The first three letters are my first, middle, and last innitials and the last part is from Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater which is one of my favorite Metal Gear Solid titles. If you're not sure of the franchise it's a video game series which has been going on since 1998 but they had couple of earlier games sort of prequel games in the 1980's. I was born in 1984 but didn't start playing the NES until I was around 4 or 5. Anyway, sorry to ramble but I appreciate you letting me know about The Unicorn Chronicles. Have a great rest of the week. ~Amanda
Hi Bruce. I'm one of your fans since childhood who became an adult, I moved from Warwick to Smithfield if that makes a difference in remembering who I am. Anyway, I was wondering if Into The Land of the Unicorns made it to hardcover (with the remade cover art). I wanted to get it and Song of the Wanderer in hardcover to go with The Last Hunt and Dark Whispers which I have in hardcover. I saw a listing with hardcover on amazon but it was from a third party seller and they were charging $500. No joke. Did you know your books are made out of gold? Just kidding. Anyway, thanks. Happy Fourth of July! ~Amanda
Hi Bruce! I loved your books as a kid, and it was great for me to kind your resources here, it really turned back the clock for me a while. I recently bought "The Skull of Truth" and loved it. Keep up the good work!
Hello again, Bruce! Today I was reminded of the Nina Tanleven books. I immediately came to this site to make sure I had all the names correct. Lo and behold, a 4th book! My inner child screamed out loud. I loved those books so much as a child. I ordered the first 3 right away. I can't wait to share them with my kids when they arrive. Thanks for being a wonderful part of my childhood!!
